ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ನ.1: ಸಿಡಿಲು ಬಡಿದು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯುವಕರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ ಮೂಡುಬಿದ್ರೆ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಪುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಕಂಚಿಬೈಲು ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ನೆನ್ನೆ ಸಂಜೆ ಸುರಿದ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಮಳೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಕಂಚಿಬೈಲಿನ ಯೆರುಗುಂಡಿ ಫಾಲ್ಸ್ ನೋಡಲು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಕಂಚಿಬೈಲು ಪದವು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಮಣಿಪ್ರಸಾದ್ (22) ಮತ್ತು ಯಶವಂತ (22) ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇವರ ಜೊತೆಗಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಗಣೇಶ್, ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಎಂಬವರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮೂಡುಬಿದ್ರೆ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
In a tragic incident, two out of five people who had gone on a trip to Yerugundi Falls at Yerugundi, Kanchibail here in the evening on Monday November 1 died after they were struck by lightning in the heavy rain coupled with thunder that pounded the area in the evening. The deceased are identified as Maniprasad (22), son of Rathnaker Poojary and Yashwanth (22), son of Srinivas Mugera, both residents of Kanchibail Padav.
